Horse rides
The Brévedent Equestrian Centre is the starting point for many rides through forests and open countryside, at walk or canter. Set off to discover the beautiful Pays d’Auge valley. You can also visit Blangy-le-Château, one of the most beautiful villages in France, on horseback.
Organising rides requires careful planning to ensure the well-being of our horses and to fit in with the other activities at the equestrian centre. We therefore ask you to contact us at least the day before you would like to ride.

Rides suitable for all levels
Pony rides (led by hand)
The perfect pony ride for young children. Lasting 30 minutes, the ride takes place within the estate on gentle ponies, perfectly suited to little beginner riders.
Forest ride
We’re lucky to be able to ride through the forest on one-hour routes. We adapt the pace to suit each rider’s level. The forest provides a calm and safe environment, perfect even for complete beginners.
Countryside ride
A ride for riders confident at trotting and cantering outdoors. The ride lasts one hour and takes you through the young horses at the Haras de la Pomme. It’s always a wonderful experience!
Discovery ride
This 3-hour ride is reserved for experienced riders. Starting through the forest, the route takes you to the village of Blangy-le-Château, listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”, where you can enjoy the traditional architecture of the Pays d’Auge. A relaxing stop is planned at the Jardins du Puits for a tasting of apple juice beside the permaculture gardens. The return to the equestrian centre follows country paths with lovely views over the valley.
This ride requires a bit of organisation, so it is best to book at least three days in advance.
