1. Legal information
This website is published by the Brévedent Equestrian Centre, operated by EARL du Brévedent, whose registered office is located at Centre équestre du Brévedent – Le Haut Faulq, 14130 Le Faulq, registered with the Trade and Companies Register under number 93151434300017, and represented by Raphaël and Jessica Bony in their capacity as managers.
Insurer: Generali – policy covering the operation of the equestrian centre and the riding activities offered.

2. Object
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern all services offered by the Brévedent Equestrian Centre via its website, in particular:
- the booking of riding lessons,
- riding courses and horse rides,
- horse and pony livery,
- arena access fees,
- gift vouchers,
- as well as equestrian stays and activities.
Any order or booking implies the customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
3. Bookings and orders
Bookings can be made:
- directly at the equestrian centre,
- by telephone,
- or online through the website.
Each booking is confirmed by email. The Brévedent Equestrian Centre reserves the right to refuse a booking in the event of previous non-payment, full capacity, or inappropriate behaviour from the customer.
5. Payment terms
Payment can be made:
- online (by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or secure payment platform),
- or on site (cash, credit/debit card, cheque or bank transfer).
For certain services (courses, stays, livery), a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
The booking will only be considered confirmed once this payment has been received.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
6.1 By the customer
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (by email or post).
In the event of cancellation at least 7 days before the service, the deposit may be transferred to another date or refunded.
In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled date, the deposit will be retained by the Equestrian Centre.
Unjustified absences will not give rise to any refund.
6.2 By the equestrian centre
The Brévedent Equestrian Centre may cancel or reschedule an activity in the event of:
- adverse weather conditions,
- safety reasons,
- effectif insuffisant.
In this case, a new date will be offered or a full refund will be issued.
7. Participation conditions
Horse riding is accessible subject to:
- sufficient physical fitness,
- a valid FFE licence (or equivalent insurance),
- the compulsory wearing of an approved riding helmet (CE certified).
- Minors must be accompanied or have parental authorisation.
8. Liability and insurance
The Brévedent Equestrian Centre is insured with Generali for damages engaging its public liability within the scope of its activities.
Each rider is invited to check their own personal accident insurance and, where applicable, to take out an FFE licence covering horse riding activities.
The equestrian centre cannot be held responsible for:
- personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged on site,
- or any damage resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or the internal rules.
9. Horse livery and accommodation
Specific livery conditions (type of service, care, feeding, pricing, responsibilities) are set out in a separate contract signed between the owner and the equestrian centre.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the related payment and booking arrangements.
10. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
They may be used for the service specified by the equestrian centre.
11. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
Failing agreement, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the equestrian centre’s registered office.
In accordance with Article L.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer is informed that they may use an approved consumer mediator to resolve any dispute amicably.
12. Personal data protection
The data collected during bookings (name, contact details, payment information) is necessary for the management of services.
It is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
