Riding courses

DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, THE BRÉVEDENT EQUESTRIAN CENTRE OFFERS “LEISURE” AND “ADVANCED” RIDING COURSES

“Taking part in a course is the best way to improve while having fun and fully immersing yourself in the life of the club.”

Riding and pony courses are an excellent way to develop your skills while enjoying special moments in close contact with the animals.

Groups are organised by age and level, from complete beginners to experienced riders.

Taking an exam at the end of the course can also be an objective for a full-day, week-long programme, allowing time for both theory and practical sessions around the horse, tailored to each Galop level.

Leisure riding courses

Leisure courses allow instructors to take the time needed for learning in a fun and engaging way, while helping children progress as they enjoy themselves. Riding lessons are delivered throughout the week, enabling young riders to develop their skills and gain confidence, encouraging them to challenge themselves on horseback.

Leisure activities allow children to put into practice all the techniques learned in more “academic” lessons without even realising it — after all, you also learn by having fun ;)

Examples of pony activities: archery, Equifun, games, treasure hunts, long reining, forest rides, run and ride…

Advanced riding courses

“Advanced” courses are organised around specific themes depending on the time of year and the riders’ level. From Galop 4 onwards, these courses introduce different disciplines and allow riders to put into practice essential skills for their development.

Examples of horse activities: free jumping a young horse, introduction to farriery, long reining, lunging your horse, mountain trail, horsemanship…
